Gunpoint is a fictional model of a busy switching yard, servicing a variety of industries and businesses in the U.S.A.

These all require different types of rail vehicles to cater for the specific needs of the customers. They include a refuelling depot, flour mill, fish cannery, small engineering companies and a timber yard.

The track layout is quite complex to allow all of the customers to have shipments to their individual premises.

A great deal of thought is required to sort out the mixture of cars for the different businesses on both inbound and outbound trains.

The layout is DCC controlled and a variety of different makes of systems can be utilised in its operation.
